Sunflower and Butterflies - Free Divider by etNoir The Annual Carpendaler Show Sunflower and Butterflies - Free Divider by etNoir

We want to welcome you all to the second Annual Carpendaler Show! This time a little earlier than previous year, because we want to hit spring and welcome summer into the frozen lands of Norway! Saddle up and get yourself ready for a whole new experience!

This year things will be done a bit different. We will only be having three classes. Three?! Yes, three! We want to keep things small and go back to basics! I bet you're already getting thrilled for everything that is coming next, make sure to read everything carefully and get your horses ready! : )

Here are the classes we're hosting this year:

HALTER FLOWER POWER
The theme of this year is... flowers! Nothing hard this time. All we require is the horse to be 3 years or younger and that the horses younger than 8 months old are to be shown with their dam at their side. Decorate your youngster with flowers and beautiful plants and maybe even with some water based paint, just go loose and make them even prettier than they already are! Decorated and all you need to show your horse in a classic halter class. When the horse is +2 years old, you are open to let them wear a bridle, otherwise they have to be wearing a halter (no matter what kind).    This class will be held in the indoor arena. The walls are colored in a soft, lavendel color and small characteristic windows are found every few meter. At the sides the walls are decorated with all different sizes of baskets with flowers.

BAREBACK FREESTYLE FUN
In the complete opposite to previous year, this time we're going all but classic! In this class you're free to perform whatever routine you want, all we require is that you ride bareback. A bridle is not mandatory, but may be used if wanted and so is a (bareback) saddle pad. You can use whatever objects you want in this routine of yours - maybe you want to let your dog participate or use some jumping poles or pions. It's all up to you!   This class will take place in an open space in the forest bordering to the Carpendaler Facilities's grounds. The "arena" has been bordered by high poles, from which lanterns with burning lights hang. The foot of the poles are decorated with baskets full of different kinda plants and flowers. The class will take place in the late afternoon, so the sun is already setting in, which creates a beautiful palet of pink, purple and orange colors in the sky.

CROSS JUMPING THE COUNTRY
As the third and last class we've chosen for a combination of Show Jumping and Cross Country. The class will take place outside, on a big open field bordered by a brown fence against a hedge of the same height. In the open field there is a parcours set up with different kinda jumps. From tree trunks (decorated with, yes, flowers!) to big fancy jumps with our sponsors written all over it. The parcours isn't set on height, since the jumps are all average height, but are more focussed on the agility of the horse, since the turns are quite sharp. We require the entered horse to be atleast 5 years old and both horse and rider should be wearing proper jumping or cross country outfits. The weather will be sunny and the class will take place at the late morning, after the vet check has taken place.

more to come...
